The Human ALK-7 (Activin E receptor) (Luc) HEK293 Reporter Cell was engineered to not only express Smad signaling response element, but also express the receptor full length human ALK-7 (Uniprot: Q8NER5-1). When stimulated with human Activin E protein, receptor-mediated signaling can drive Smad-mediated luminescence. Inhibition of biological effect of human Activin E protein by corresponding inhibitors results in a decrease in luminescence.
